Regimen
Apply hydrogen peroxide*
on the affected area with a cottonball, and squeeze any blackheads
and sebum that come out easily. Wash with a mild soap, pat dry, and
apply a liberal coat of the Vitamin A+ Skin Solution.
Best practice is to
let it stay on overnight, but if you would rather
remove the Skin Solution before bed, allow it work for at least an
hour and strip using a cottonball
soaked in rubbing alcohol (91% or 99% isopropanol is
preferred to the more common 70% rubbing alcohol). Apply a
thin layer of the Skin Solution before
washing in the morning to further reduce the oil. In
addition, it may be
safely worn in combination with sunscreen or makeup.
* This step is
optional, but hydrogen peroxide will help loosen dead skin
and open pores to increase the efficacy of Vitamin A. Keep
peroxide away from facial hair that you do not want
bleached!
Dry Skin?
Acutane has
been known to cause chronic dry skin. If all else has
